About Little Eorthe

Little Eorthe Farm is a local CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm located in the Orting Valley in Washington State, near Tacoma.

In this time of corporate agriculture and environmental catastrophe, our culture needs to re-learn the simplicity and healthfulness of farming on a small, local scale, and without the use of poisons, herbicides, pesticides or petroleum-based or industrial fertilizers.  We lessen our dependency on oil when we buy locally – food that has been transported via truck can’t be said to be petroleum free!  Wasteful consumption and over-packaging contribute to the problems caused by our industrial society and methods.

Little Eorthe Farm has committed ourselves to be stewards of our home – to allow wildlife and humanity to flourish and co-exist and to protect the remaining species on the planet.  Here we put these words into practice.  Here is where healing begins.  Here is where change will take place, and here is where we can turn the tide.
